These two pictures portray two women. They seem to have the same back round and most of the same colors used (primary colors mostly). Although they seem alike, the women are conveying two different types of women. The first one is very modest and has a more serious facial expression. The second women has no clothes on and has a more seductive facial expression.
The mood of these pictures to me is melancholy. While both of the models facial expressions are different they both have some sadness to them. They look tense
I think these images were created in photoshop because you can see that their hair is not "painted" like the rest of the picture. The models had portrait pictures taken of them then the artist went into photoshop and manipulated the picture to make some parts of the picture look painted.
The color choice i think does contribute to the mood. They're mainly primary colors. They make it more bold, so they stand out.
I Think she might've been portraying defiance. The girls faces both have a defiant look on their faces.
