Cubism Questions

Some of the steps the artist took to create this picture include first taking one picture head on. Then he continued to take more pictures of the same subject just from different heights, angles and times of day. I think at least 6 or 7. I think that some might've been taken later in the day than others. Yes, you can see some "grainy" type pictures, as well as some blurring and discoloration maybe. The artist also made sure to get pictures from different angles and heights.

Dear Past Me

Dear past Mallory, You will eventually take a creative photography class (i know so surprising right). It takes many skills to be successful in this class. You'll have to shoot photos for most assignments and play around a lot in photoshop. Some tips I recommend include always shooting your'e photos out on time and have a plan frame you need to get things done by. Another struggle is coming up with ideas for your photos. Your first idea is most likely not going to be best one, so give it some time to get those creative juices flowing. This is one of my best pictures. It was for the "blue project", I knew I wanted a picture somehow involving the sky. I figured a lot of people might end up doing that, so I changed and manipulated my photo til I got my desired results. Before photoshop this was just a normal picture of a sunrise on a foggy road. I then put it in photoshop and played around with hue and saturation and took out the red and replaced it with blue. O

"Lost in the World" responses

1) What is the general premise of the video? The message conveyed in this video is that people are focusing too much on social media, and technology that it could be dangerous. It's also saying that all of the social networking could almost numb us to the world around us. 2) Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message? Yes. The video shows how people are amused by things that should be horrifying, for example the girl jumping off a building people take a snap shot of the accident like it's a photoshoot and move on with there lives. 3) Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why? I feel like this video is more of a cautionary warning because I personally don't think it has gone to this extreme like the story showed with that many people involved and that much loss of emotion throughout society.
