1) What is the general premise of the video?
The message conveyed in this video is that people are focusing too much on social media, and technology that it could be dangerous. It's also saying that all of the social networking could almost numb us to the world around us.
2) Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
Yes. The video shows how people are amused by things that should be horrifying, for example the girl jumping off a building people take a snap shot of the accident like it's a photoshoot and move on with there lives.
3) Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why?
I feel like this video is more of a cautionary warning because I personally don't think it has gone to this extreme like the story showed with that many people involved and that much loss of emotion throughout society. However, if people do continue to let social media control their life, then we might end up in a dystopian like the video showed.
